My good pen friend from Germany, Anja, sent me the link to this awesome website.... http://www.postcrossing.com/. She collects postcards, so this is so perfect for her. It sounded fun, so I signed up today. Here are the directions from the website:
How does it work?
Request an address and a Postcard ID
Mail the postcard to that address
Receive a postcard from another postcrosser!
Register the Postcard ID you have received
Go to number 1 to receive more postcards!
You can request to send up to 5 postcards at a time, so I signed up for all 5. They are from the Netherlands, Russia, Estonia, Canada, and Taiwan. What a great idea for those of us who open the mailbox every day with bated breath in hopes of some cutesy snail mail or a neat little package.
